Mapping Scheme Configuration
The Mapping Scheme configuration screen allows you to manage Mapping Schemes.
A Mapping Scheme is a grouping of mapping patterns. When associating a Mapping Scheme to one/more Project/s, all the Mapping Patterns associated to the Scheme are available on all the projects.
The Mapping Scheme Configuration screen screen allows the following operations:
Adding a new Mapping Scheme
To create a new mapping scheme, follow the steps below.
1 | Navigate to the Mapping Scheme Configuration screen. Administration → Add-Ons → Herzum Quick Linker → Mapping Scheme Configuration |  Mapping Scheme Configuration |
2 | Digit the name of the new Mapping Scheme to create. | Mapping Scheme Configuration screen |
3 | Select one Mapping Pattern to associate to the Mapping Scheme and click Associate Mapping Pattern to the Scheme. | Mapping Scheme Configuration screen |

Associate a Mapping Pattern to an existing Mapping Scheme
1 | Select the Mapping Scheme to associate with the Mapping Pattern. | Mapping Scheme Configuration screen |
2 | Select the Mapping Pattern and click Associate Mapping Pattern to the Scheme. A Mapping Pattern can be associate to a Mapping Scheme only once.

3 | Review successful Mapping Pattern association with the selected Mapping Scheme. | Mapping Scheme Configuration screen |
Updating the Mapping Schema denomination
1 | Select a Mapping Scheme and click Edit | Mapping Scheme Configuration screen |
2 | Edit the Mapping Scheme denomination and click Save to maintain changes or Cancel to exit without save | Mapping Scheme Configuration screen |
Deleting a Mapping Schema
1 | Select the Mapping Scheme and click the bin icon. | Mapping Scheme Configuration screen |
2 | A pop-up asks to confirm the action. Click OK to delete the Mapping Scheme or Cancel to exit. When deleting a Mapping Scheme, each association between the Mapping Scheme and one/more Mapping Pattern, each association between the Mapping Scheme and one/more Projects and each issue link created via the Scheme will be deleted too. | Mapping Scheme Configuration screen |
Deleting the association between a Mapping Pattern and a Mapping Scheme
1 | Navigate to the Mapping Pattern associated to the Mapping Scheme and click the to delete the association. | Mapping Scheme Configuration screen |
2 | A pop-up asks to confirm the action. Click OK to delete the association or Cancel to exit. When deleting the association between a Mapping Pattern and the Mapping Scheme, each issue link based on the the association will be deleted too.
